Darling Cherry, it’s National Love Your Pet Day today, and I’ve just sat sobbing my heart out because your photos came up in my Facebook memories. This time last year was the beginning of the end for you. You’d already been at the vets everyday the previous week, little did we know then that we’d be losing you soon 🥺 I miss you so much my darling girl, it’s not fair, you should have had a few more years yet. I had a dream early this morning that Cherry appeared beside my armchair in the sitting room. I was stroking her and kissing her. She gave me her paw and was all bouncy and happy. I asked Paul if he could see her and he said yes, so I told him to take a photo. He was faffing around with his phone and I told him to hurry up before she disappeared. Don’t know if he managed to take it because I woke up. I’ve been asking Cherry for a sign that she’s okay, I hope that was it. It’s been 12 days since we let you go, 12 days where our hearts have broken. We miss you so much darling girl. Love always, Mummy & Daddy x

Our darling girl left us on 2nd March 2023. We are absolutely devastated and grief stricken. We will miss you every second of everyday for the rest of our lives. Thank you for 8 beautiful years, for the joy, fun and love you brought into our lives. We don’t know quite how to carry on without you x
